Enjoying Your Spa Experience
How early should
I arrive for my treatment?
We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your Spa treatment
to check in and begin to unwind.
What should I bring for my treatment(s)?
If your are using the retreat area you will need your bathing suit.
We will supply you with a robe, foot wear and a towel. We have a locker
area to store your personal items during your stay.
Where can I park?
- Dartmouth Interlude:
- There is ample parking in downtown Dartmouth - you can often park at a meter less than a block away from the Spa. Those enjoying more than a few hours with is should consider one of the parking lots also close in proximity
- Halifax Interlude:
- Parking is very convenient at our Halifax Marriott
Harbourfront location with the choice of two parking lots. You
can often park at the hotel itself though from time to time this
lot does get full, we then encourage you to use the Casino parkade
as an alternate choice. Just a five-minute walk though the indoor
pedway to the Spa.
Can I cancel my spa appointment?
Yes, although we do require 48 hours notice to avoid any late cancellation
fee.
Can I ask my spa services provider to make adjustments for my comfort?
Absolutely - this is your treatment - please communicate with your
spa service provider regarding room temperature, pressure technique
etc. We value your feedback.
Should I let someone know about my allergies, ailments or sensitivities?
Of course! Especially if you have high blood pressure, allergies or
if you are pregnant. Please notify your Spa coordinator at time of
booking.
What should I wear to my Pilates, Body Rolling and/or Yoga session?
We recommend that you wear fitted tights and top (or loose-fitting
t-shirt). Shoes are not necessary.
Can you direct bill my health care insurance provider?
Yes! We now are able to arrange for direct billing for Blue Cross plan members only on therapeutic massages. Please call us for more information if you wish take advantage of this service.
