Kim Kraushar

KimKim has built a very impressive reputation as an expert and leader in the health and wellness industry. She is the proud owner of one of the first STOTT PILATES® method Licensed Training Centers in Canada and has trained hundreds of health and fitness professionals throughout the Atlantic region.

Kim studied at York University where she received her B.F.A. Dance/B.Ed. and completed her B.Sc. Kinesiology at Dalhousie University. She is a STOTT PILATES® method Lead Instructor Trainer, Yamuna Body Rolling Certified Instructor Trainer, and Certified Franklin Method Instructor.

Throughout her career, Kim has fostered a love and respect for the physical form and a desire to teach and share her passion with others. Through her working relationship with Merrithew Health & Fitness™, she has been selected to present throughout North America and Europe at conferences such as IDEA World, Inner IDEA, Merrithew Health & Fitness' UK Symposium, Can-Fit Pro, and Planeta Mind Body and is featured in several of MH&F's new DVD releases.

Moira MacLean

MoiraMoira MacLean is a STOTT PILATES® method Certified Instructor in Mat and Reformer, Injuries and Special Populations, plus has training on the Edge, Roller, BOSU®*, Jumpboard, Stability Ball™, STOTT PILATES® Stability Cushions™ and Level 1 training in Yumana Ball Rolling. She has had a life long passion, interest, and commitment to fitness, balanced nutrition and the pursuit of being a happy person.

Her training in business and education as well as twenty years experience in the pharmaceutical industry has instilled in her a strong discipline for ongoing assessment, development of programs in line with the needs of various groups. Moira saw such a dramatic changes in her own body doing pilates privately for over ten years that she decided to become a trainer to help share the many benefits that she herself gleaned. Pilates helps focus and create space in the mind as well as the body. She believes strongly in the power of the mind to choose happiness and wellness every day.

Kati Latorovszki

KatiKati is a certified Fitness instructor, Personal trainer and Pro trainer with a ( B.Sc. In Nursing ) and has been in the fitness industry for the past 17 years.

She was introduced to Yoga first and then STOTT PILATES® ten years ago when she fell in love with the Mind Body approach. Kati is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor, a Level 2 Yamuna Body Rolling teacher a Zumba and Zumba Toning instructor, AntiGravity Yoga teacher and newly Certified MELT Trainer. She loves to exercise and passionate to spread the knowledge of Contrology.

Jackie Vacca

JackieJackie has been teaching dance for 26 years. She began studying STOTT PILATES® in 2003 in a personal effort to refocus her mind and body. The effects were so far reaching in her own body, she wanted to share her knowledge with others. Jackie brings her love for the movement arts, her passion to share knowledge and her gift of finding unique ways to make exercise fun to all of her classes.

Christie Dauphinee

christie Christie is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor. Christie routinely teaches Mat, Reformer, small equipment, TRX, Injury, and Special Populations. She is a lifelong athlete whose passion for sports began with ringette and hockey at the age of 5. Christie was competitive until the age of 15 when her focus shifted to all sports, encompassing the process rather than the specific sport.

The mind/body connection to health and fitness is what drives her passion today. “I believe that STOTT PILATES® encompasses correct movement that you can apply to any form of exercise.” Christie has her B.A. in Theatre and Music from Dalhousie University. At Dalhousie she had extensive dance and movement training for four years. She also acquired an Education Certification from the University of Maine at Presque Isle, where she improved the art of teaching. Inspired by STOTT PILATES®, she is now returning to The School of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University.

Her professional career as a STOTT PILATES® instructor began 7 years ago at Interlude Spa and some local studios/gyms. Whether it is a private session or a group class, her classes will help you rehabilitate your spine, improve your core and leave you feeling invigorated!

Rhonda MacVicar

RhondaRhonda has been a fitness professional at the Interlude Spa for over 20 years. She taught aerobics, step aerobics and aqua fitness before concentrating her training in the STOTT PILATES® method. She is currently certified in Matwork, Reformer and Injuries and Special Populations with additional training in Stability Chair™. She is Level 2 Yamuna Body Rolling certified and has recently completed her Anti-Gravity Yoga certification. She believes a mindful approach to exercise is the most effective way to achieve your fitness and lifestyle goals.
